Navigating the Medimarket Dashboard
This is your dashboard, this is where all major edits will happen:
Before jumping into uploading products, get familiar with the menu on the left side of your dashboard. Here you’ll find “Store Settings”:
When you click the dropdown arrow, you’ll see “Storefront”, “Policies”, “Billing”, and “Shipping”.
Selecting “Storefront” will take you to the page shown below, where you’ll see options to change your Brand’s Logo (if you have one), your Cover Picture, as well as your Brand’s name as will be seen by your customers and visitors to the website.
If the name that has been pulled through is not the desired one, you may change that here, it’s also advised that you add an accurate Store Description, and check that your Store Slug is correct, if not, change it.
Scrolling further, you’ll see all your personal details that have been pulled through during your application.
The next block below is for your Social Media details, if you’d like to link to your business’ Facebook or Instagram profile, add the relevant link in here:
Below the Social Media block, you’ll find the SEO block, here you’ll be able to add a “SEO Title”, your store’s “Focus Keyword”, and a “Meta Description”. These are very important as they will help your shop rank on Google.
To learn more about SEO, click on the Knowledgebase to the left of the dashboard, a page with a dropdown menu will open up, select the first one entitled “Vendor SEO and Analytics”
Next under “Store Settings”, you’ll find “Policies”, when you click on it, it’ll take you to a page that allows you to add in your Shipping, Refund, and Cancellation/Return/Exchange Policies.
Here’s a resource that can help you craft the Policies for your specific store: [INSERT LINK].
In the block below that, you’ll see the section for “Customer Support Details”, these are the contact details your customers will be able to access if/when they have any queries related to your store or products.
Next up on the list is Billing:
Here, you’ll see an option to choose your Payment Method. You’ll need to select “Direct Bank”, as Medimarket currently pays you the vendor manually into your account. However, this may change in the future, but we will keep you informed of any changes with regards to this.
Directly below “Billing”, you’ll see “Shipping”, when you click on it, you’ll see Shipping Options in a dropdown menu, select either “Shipping by Zone” or “Shipping by Distance”, whichever is most applicable to your store.
